AI Credits and Bring Your Own Key
AI features in Inspire are powered by credits. Each action consumes a number of credits based on its complexity.
Credit Allocation by Plan

Credits reset monthly. Unused credits do not roll over.

Monitoring Usage
Check your credit usage in Settings > AI:
- Current month usage and remaining allocation
- Usage breakdown by operation type
Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
For unlimited AI usage, enter your own API keys. When using BYOK, no Inspire credits are consumed — usage is billed directly by the provider.
BYOK is available on all plans. Navigate to Settings > AI to enter your API keys.
Inspire uses two AI providers:

Configuration
- Navigate to Settings > AI
- Enter your Anthropic API key for text-based AI features
- Enter your OpenAI API key for image generation
- Save
You can use one or both keys. Text features use Anthropic, image generation uses OpenAI. Each key operates independently — you can BYOK for text generation while using Inspire credits for images, or vice versa.
API calls are made from your Inspire server directly to the provider. Your data is not routed through Optymyse servers.
API costs from BYOK usage are billed directly by the provider to your account. Optymyse does not charge for AI features when using BYOK.
