Templates
Templates are pre-designed scenes that you can use as starting points. They save time by providing professional layouts that you can customise with your own content and data.
Template Gallery
The template gallery is accessible when creating a new scene. It provides a visual grid of available templates grouped by category.
Categories
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Corporate | KPI dashboards, meeting room displays, welcome screens |
| Retail | Product promotions, menu boards, digital shelf labels |
| Hospitality | Hotel lobby, restaurant specials, event schedules |
| Education | Classroom info, campus wayfinding, event boards |
| Healthcare | Waiting room, department directories, safety notices |
| Transport | Departure boards, timetables, service alerts |
| General | Clocks, KPI dashboards, welcome screens, status boards, ticker displays |

Template Best Practices
| Practice | Why |
|---|---|
| Use components, not raw elements | Templates with components re-theme correctly |
| Add descriptive placeholder text | Helps users understand what content goes where |
| Test at multiple resolutions | Templates may be used on different screen sizes |
| Include a thumbnail | Makes the gallery more visually useful |
| Write a clear description | Explain the template’s intended use case |
